Well, hello everyone.
Today marks the 5th year anniversary of our arrival in the United Kingdom. Yup, 5 years ago today we stepped off the plane in Belfast International Airport and began a most interesting journey as a couple. We started as two and have become four! In the five years, which is a relatively short amount of time, so much has happened. We have stayed in 5 houses, changed jobs twice and had two kids! Looking back it’s amazing to see the things that have happened in our lives and how they have shaped us to this point. For now, our focus is family and raising our children. We have the most beautiful children one could ever ask for and they bring such joy to our lives. We are very grateful to God for His hand in our lives and our family.
I have gone from the office dungeon to a job where I am working with kids and music, drumming every day… what could be better than that? Anita is spending time with the kids at home. Things have changed for us in the last 6 months. Even though we lost our third baby, we are still hopeful of things to come in the form of another brother or sister (one day) for Elowyn and Ethan.
Who knows what the next five years hold?

Hi Matthew & Anita, cant reply to your facebook message somehow? you reconstructing again?
You asked for contact numbers: +27 84 762 3716 mobile +27 11 872 1023 landline (but cant get to it that easerly unless you catch me at the time I’m sitting in the wheelchair doing my physio…
My work has connected me with skype but am new to it…
Talking about physio, please ask Anita what sort of exercises can I do with the bi lateral femma bones broken, left knee little stuffed but can slowly bend more as I sit in chair every day for a bit.
I’ve been also moving my feet up an down too. And lifting arms up and down whilst sitting.
Right Hand- last three fingers dont work properly, difficult to open and close – but have been using stressball to help. —The muscle from the elbow to the wrist was swollen, took a knock.
Am not allowed to put weight on the legs for 6weeks,pins to set. but when lying down when pain not too bad having been ‘walking on a cushion’ placed at end bed while lying down – is this good? basically pushing down on the cushion alternating legs, but not like taking steps forward, cant lift legs much yet.
How are you guys??? Enjoying the Spring?
Say hi to Elowyn & Ethan from me
